Internal Vacancy

Due to continued growth and development, the Physiotherapy department are recruiting an additional Fitness Instructor. The role will include working with young people who have complex physical and learning difficulties, with both acute and chronic presentation. As part of this diverse and interesting role you will complete assessments and formulate treatment programmes working with learners during individual sessions and group sessions in the adapted gym. The role involves close working with Physiotherapist to ensure learners complete physiotherapy and fitness programme meets their individual needs.

Successful candidates should be keen to develop their knowledge in this area and already hold the Gym Instructor Level 2 Qualification and well as teaching qualification to CTTL’s level or be willing to work towards these with the support of National Star. Previous experience working with young people with disabilities is highly desirable
