National Star are excited to be recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic SEND practitioner to join our Learning Programmes Team as a Personal Learning Co-ordinator Manager. You will support the development of high quality individual learner programmes which maximise learning, independence and wellbeing and prepare students to contribute fully to adult life.
You will assist the Head of Learning and Support in ensuring effective transition planning and procedures for learners both into and out of college and quality assure the learning experiences directly and indirectly through the management of others. The role requires a sound understanding of EHCPs and some direct teaching. You will be a qualified teacher, ideally with previous experience of managing staff and developing teams. You will be a strong communicator and committed to furthering the aspirations of young people with complex disabilities.
