Job Details:

We are looking for a Personal Learning Co-ordinator to work with a group of learners with a range of disabilities. You will be responsible for putting together learning programmes and liaising with key staff, external professionals and families, as well as monitoring, recording and optimising learner progress.

You will have experience of working with people with moderate learning difficulties, severe and multiple learning difficulties and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder. You will hold a relevant level 3 or 4 professional qualification and a teaching qualification at Diploma level. You need to have excellent interpersonal skills; be proactive, creative and forward thinking; enjoy networking, planning, setting targets and delivering learning.

Please note: This is a temporary maternity cover post.  Persons enrolled on the full teaching Diploma programme due to complete this academic year may apply; the role will be offered on a lower salary and an adjustment applied on confirmation of fully qualified status.
