National Star in Wales is a Day college for post-19 learners with physical disabilities and learning difficulties and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition, studying at levels E1 to Level 1.
Based at Mamhilad, Near Pontypool, the College & Curriculum Manager will be the operational lead for National Star in Wales, leading on the continuing development of a progressive, integrated learning and therapy provision, with responsibility for the management of National Star in Wales College, which provides for 15-20 students.
We are seeking a qualified teaching professional with at least 3-4 years’ experience in the ALN/SEND sector, with an element of managerial experience. You need to have excellent managerial & interpersonal skills, be proactive, creative and forward thinking; enjoy networking, education planning and delivering learning, and has a motivation to support in the expansion and relocation of provision and programmes.
Excellent induction and ongoing training will be provided and you will have the chance to shape the development of this expanding and exciting National Star College.

Bydd angen i chi feddu ar sgiliau rheoli a rhyngbersonol ardderchog, bod yn broactif, creadigol ac â’r gallu i feddwl ymlaen; mwynhau rhwydweithio, cynllunio addysg a darparu dysgu, a meddu ar gymhelliant i gefnogi o ran ehangu ac adleoli darpariaeth a rhaglenni.
