Job Details:

This exciting role has been established as part of the development of Learning Support across Learning Programmes and wider college teams. This key role will allow individuals to develop expertise within a specialist subject area and develop that of support staff.

TA’s will be involved in further developing the existing quality monitoring processes to ensure consistency of standards and practice across all learning areas. Experience in functional skills is highly desirable.

You will have responsibility for the day to day effective support of students in their timetabled sessions and mentoring of the learning support staff with a desired outcome of making a positive contribution to the quality of the learner experience within a learning environment.  As part of the leisure provision, there is a requirement to support an evening activity.

Additional to this, you will be required to achieve the learning support qualification and will be enrolled on this internal course.

Please note that a minimum of 0.80 FTE will be considered.
