The National Star staff team is a community of people dedicated to supporting people with complex disabilities to achieve their aspirations. We have just agreed a salary increase of 5% across all our jobs from January 2022 to recognise the commitment and dedication of our staff.
All new staff joining National Star will also be eligible to receive a welcome bonus of up to £250 (pro-rata) upon successful completion of their probation.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the site services team providing a reliable responsive and effective service to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for our learners, residents, and staff. In this customer focussed role, you will work as part of the Site Services shift team learning new skills and facing new challenges every day. Whilst training will be given, previous caretaker experience ideally within a school/college/ residential setting and /or Craft/Technical or Professional qualification in a related field would be preferred.
This position is to cover shifts for holidays and absence, shifts are based on days, evenings, and nights the successful candidate will work as part of a team and independently.
