National Star College is a specialist further education college for young adults aged 16-25 years with complex physical and learning disabilities.  Our staff team is a community of people dedicated to supporting our students to achieve their aspirations.

We have just agreed a salary increase of 5% across all our jobs from January 2022 to recognise the commitment and dedication of our staff.

All new staff joining National Star will also be eligible to receive a welcome bonus of up to £250 (pro-rata) upon successful completion of their probation.

We are looking for an experienced & enthusiastic retail manager to maximise the sales in our successful Charity Shop on Hucclecote Road in Gloucester. 

You must be confident in recruiting, training & managing a team, whilst merchandising & generating quality donated stock to provide an exceptional customer service experience. You will be supported by a part-time deputy & a team of volunteers.

Who are we?

We’re a growing charity with more than 1,100 staff based in England and Wales. Established more than 50 years ago, we’ve supported hundreds of young people with disabilities to achieve their potential.

Our charity runs a specialist independent college for residential and day learners with complex disabilities in Gloucestershire (near Cheltenham) and two further day colleges in Hereford and Wales. We also run supported internships and traineeships, travel training and work in partnership with charities and other organisations across the UK.

We also provide high quality residential long-term living accommodation for young people with disabilities in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Hereford and Malvern.
