National Star College is a specialist further education college for young adults aged 16-25 years with complex physical and learning disabilities. Our staff team is a community of people dedicated to supporting our students to achieve their aspirations.
We have just agreed a salary increase of 5% across all our jobs from January 2022 to recognise the commitment and dedication of our staff.
All new staff joining National Star will also be eligible to receive a welcome bonus of up to £250 (pro-rata) upon successful completion of their probation.
We are currently looking for a number of Catering Assistants to join our team in providing a full catering service to students, staff and visitors.
Working as an important part of the team, you will perform various duties including some food preparation, serving food, keeping the equipment and work areas clean, assisting the chef with the smooth running of the area, cash handling.
A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, however this is not essential and full training will be provided.
We are looking for enthusiastic and efficient team members to cover part time hours (24 hours / week - all year) at our Ullenwood (on the outskirts of Cheltenham). We also have some opportunities for weekend only shifts. Please state your preference in your application.
