We are recruiting a full and part time registered nurse (nights) to work at our Ullenwood location.
You will be supporting learners and residents with complex disabilities and caring for the physical and mental wellbeing of young adults who may present with respiratory, diabetes, epilepsy and other associated requirements.
Working alongside well trained care staff you will be responsible for the health care of learners or residents within the accommodation. The role includes developing comprehensive health plans, medical procedures and protocols and liaising with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams. You will be supporting and developing non-qualified staff in the medication processes and empowering learners and residents to develop skills and knowledge in relation to their wellbeing. Management of medication, liaising with GP’s, pharmacy and consultants is part of the Nurse role at National Star. You will be developed and supported in all aspects of your role by the Residential Manager (not necessarily nurse qualified).
