National Star College is a specialist further education college for young adults aged 16-25 years with complex physical and learning disabilities. Our staff team is a community of people dedicated to supporting our students to achieve their aspirations.
We have just agreed a salary increase of 5% across all our jobs from January 2022 to recognise the commitment and dedication of our staff.
All new staff joining National Star will also be eligible to receive a welcome bonus of up to £250 (pro-rata) upon successful completion of their probation.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a key part in an established care home team In Hereford which provides accommodation and support for young adults with a range of disabilities including autism, communication difficulties, epilepsy and physical disabilities.
You will support the running of the care home by providing valuable administration support which includes auditing the daily records, typing up recommended changes to care plans, managing the staff annual leave process and arranging placement reviews. You will be asked to carry out administration duties such as typing, copying, cash handling, processing financial records and any other day to day office tasks.
You will need excellent communication skills, IT skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be supporting a management team to ensure the care home runs as efficiently as possible. This position is part time working 20 hours a week.
The salary is £9.00 per hour (FTE 17316.00) rising to £9.45 per hour (FTE £18,181.80 ) from January 2022
