The role

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join our Emotional Wellbeing Service as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner. In the role you will support day learners at our bustling college in Mamhilad in Wales.

You will be dynamic, creative and proactive. You will also be confident working autonomously in managing your own caseload, working collaboratively with other professionals to develop individualised Behaviour Support Plans, delivering evidence-based interventions and providing professional advice, training and information to colleagues, families and carers.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of Functional Analysis and the Positive Behaviour Support approach to support disabled young people and adults in improving their quality of life, and as a result reducing the frequency and / or intensity of behaviour that challenges.

Whilst this is a part time role of 18.5 hours a week during term time, an ability to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the role as directed is essential. The actual salary will be £9,874.- £10,715 (depending on your experience) rising to £10,368 - £11,251 in January 2022.
