National Star’s living accommodation in Malvern is the cosy, long-term home for four men with learning disabilities. The young adults we support are currently looking for new care and support workers (nights) to join us.
We’re looking to recruit another part-time night care and support worker to join our friendly team. You will work as part of our team of 12 staff providing the highest standards of care for the residents.
You will be awake overnight throughout the shift to ensure you are available for any resident that requires support. It goes without saying that you will be diligent in handing over important care information to your daytime colleagues when they arrive for their morning shift.
You will work two 12 hour shifts (typically 8 pm - 8.am) a week, normally Thurday/ Friday one week and Sunday / Wednesday the second week. We would ask for some flexibility to help to covver other shifts if required.
If you're ready for a change in your career or want to take the next step in a position you're already passionate about, as our care and support worker, all you do helps create a world without limits - for who you empower and your own career development.
Whether it's the big moments some of us take for granted or the small triumphs that others wouldn't expect, together, we focus on what's possible for everyone and recognise that the connections we make today are the memories of tomorrow. It's their life you make sure they are busy living it.
National Star is a growing charity with more than 1,100 staff based in England and Wales. Established more than 50 years ago, we’ve supported hundreds of young people with disabilities to achieve their potential.
