National Star is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Catering Assistants to join our team at our Ullenwood site on the outskirts of Cheltenham to provide a full catering service to students, staff and visitors.  

You will work 40 hours  a week  (including weekends) with - 4 pm and 10 am - 6 pm shifts. You may be asked to work additional hours or different shifts according to the needs of our students. This is a term time only role working 42 weeks a year.

Working as an important part of the team, you will perform various duties including some food preparation, serving food, keeping the equipment and work areas clean, assisting the chef with the smooth running of the area, cash handling. 

A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, however this is not essential and full training will be provided.

Interviews will be held throughout the advertised period. The interview process will in two stages, held at our Ullenwood site and consist of an interview with panel and if successful a second interview will be practical time in the kitchen. You can expect to be with us for up to 3hrs.
