The role
As Deputy Manager based in our residential facilities at Ullenwood, you will be responsible for supporting the Residential Manager, deputising in their absence, ensuring that the highest standards of support are provided to our learners. You will promote and maintain high standards through staff management, effective staff deployment and quality assurance processes such as audits. You will work closely with learners, ensuring their wellbeing and listening to and acting on their feedback.
You will be self-motivated and able to use your own initiative. You will have excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, and be able to implement those plans effectively.
You will have a relevant Level 3 qualification or above in health or social care. You will have a minimum of two years care experience, with at least one year in a role that includes staff management.
