National Star at Wales are looking for person centred, dynamic and proactive Care & Education Facilitators to support students with physical and learning disabilities at our college in Mamhilad.
As a Facilitator you will provide high standards of support for our learners with their personal care, therapy, social and educational activities. You will be motivated and able to use initiative. We expect very high standards so we provide excellent support and training to enable you to meet these. Enthusiasm, professionalism and a strong work ethic is essential, as well as being able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards the aspirations of young people with disabilities. Experience of working with people with learning and/or physical disabilities and a level 2 qualification in care or learning support is desirable, however applications will be welcomed from people with no previous experience who can demonstrate the potential to develop in the role.
All facilitators in our Wales provision are required to register with Education Workforce Council (EWC).
