Job Details:

This is an exciting time to join the award winning LIFT Programme. In partnership with Warwickshire County Council and other service providers you will provide independent travel training to vulnerable young people who have learning difficulties or physical disabilities, to enable them to use public transport for journeys to school or college.

You will join a strong programme and after induction training will be capable of delivering structured 1:1 support. You will have good organisational skills and enjoy working in a community setting across Warwickshire. The team is based in Warwick.

You will be confident working independently in the community, be an excellent communicator with a dynamic and innovative approach. You will hold a full driving licence. You may have or be working towards teaching qualifications - if not Lift Training will support the gaining of such qualifications. This role may attract applicants from a variety of backgrounds such as teaching, learner support, project managers, newly qualified graduates, care workers, former Police Officers, youth workers.

These roles will require travel and flexible start and finish times. The Programme Leader role will be supervised by the Head of Lift Training.
