National Star is looking for a Senior Facilitator based at Foundation House, one of our Long Term Residential provisions. Working as part of the management team you will support the effective running of a residential area including leading a team of facilitators to provide a high standard of individualised care and promoting and encouraging residents personal development.

You will be able to work on your own initiative and have good people skills, and be able to plan and organise effectively.  You will have at least 2 years care experience ideally with people with a learning and/or physical disability.  A level 3 diploma in health and social care, or a level 2 and willingness to obtain a level 3 qualification on appointment is desirable.

The post requires shift work, with early shifts starting at 8am and late shifts ending at 10pm and 11pm, and all staff work a minimum of every other weekend. 

The successful candidate will have a fixed term role for 6 months, after which there may be a possibility of the post becoming permanent.
