Job Details:

We are looking to recruit a Head of Department into our Residential team.  You will join the Director of Health, Care and Support, and the current Head of Department to form a strong and dynamic leadership team managing and developing the Health, Care and Support aspects of National Star. You will have responsibility for a range of managers and services on the College’s main Campus at Ullenwood, as well as Off-site, with a longer term view to overseeing the Off-site services. You will be able to lead others to implement the highest standard of care delivery for students with a range of complex physical and learning disabilities. Graded Outstanding by CQC, you will require the attributes to maintain and build on these exemplary standards.

You will be a self-motivated person with exceptional leadership skills, with a demonstrable ability to think and plan strategically both in the short and long term.  You will be experienced in the Health or Social Care sector and will have achieved a minimum relevant qualification at Level 4 or above, with proven management experience and ideally experience of working with people with complex disabilities. You will have a proven track record in effective multi-disciplinary working and managing complex situations.
