National Star provide outstanding care and support to 3 adults with physical disabilities and learning difficulties and are currently looking for a Senior Facilitator at our Residential Home in Malvern, Worcestershire.

The successful candidate will be working as part of the management team, supporting the effective running of the home, including leading a team of facilitators, to provide a high standard of individualised care and promoting and encouraging residents’ personal development and enrichment.

You must be able to work on your own initiative and have good people skills, and be able to plan and organise effectively.  You will have at least 2 years care experience ideally with people with a learning difficulties and/or physical disability. It is desirable to already be level 3 qualified in Health & Social Care, however it is essential to hold a minimum of Level 2 with a willingness to obtain a level 3 qualification on appointment.

The post requires shift work, with early shifts starting from 7am and late shifts ending at 10.30pm, with a requirement to work every other weekend.

Excellent induction and ongoing training will be provided and you will have the chance to shape the progression and care of our residents and our provision.
