An exciting new role within our Safeguarding Department has arisen. Working alongside the National Safeguarding Lead you will have a vital role in maintaining learner and resident safety across the organisation. You will be required to manage safeguarding concerns in line with policy and procedure and liaise with external agencies where appropriate. You will participate in the implementation and ongoing development of administration systems. You will also play a pivotal role in the promotion and education of safeguarding throughout the organisation.

The role of Safeguarding Practitioner is full time 37hrs weekly all year round 52 weeks. Working hours will typically be Mon – Fri 09:00-17:00 a level of flexibility to work outside of these hours is required to meet the need of the role such as attendance at meetings or representation at events. Remuneration for the role is Circa £22000 per annum with 22days annual leave and up to 3 days leave at Christmas.

If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, hold a relevant professional level 3 qualification or above and have worked in a similar role safeguarding children or vulnerable adults we would love to hear from you.
