National Star in Wales are looking for person centred, dynamic and proactive Care & Education Facilitators to support students with physical and learning disabilities at our college in Pontypool (term-time only).

As a Facilitator you will be required to work a minimum of 150 hours per year, providing high standards of support for our learners with their personal care, therapy, social and educational activities.  We expect very high standards so we provide excellent support and training to enable you to meet these. Enthusiasm, professionalism and a strong work ethic is essential, as well as being able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards the aspirations of young people with disabilities. 

Experience of working with people with learning and/or physical disabilities and a level 2 qualification in care or learning support is desirable, however applications will be welcomed from people with no previous experience who can demonstrate the potential to develop in the role. Registration with EWC will be required on appointment.
