National Star are recruiting inspirational people for our new long term residential home at Ledbury Road, Hereford.

We are looking for person centred, dynamic and proactive Care Facilitators to support people with physical and learning disabilities living in their new home. Taking a holistic approach you will support with their therapies, social and work activities and personal care needs.

National Star is a charity, who have colleges offering life-transforming learning, personal development and specialist therapies for young people who have complex learning difficulties and disabilities in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and South Wales. National Star also offers long term living with residences in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and now Herefordshire.

As a Facilitator you will provide high standards of support for our residents with their personal care, therapy, social and work activities. You will be self-motivated and able to use your initiative and demonstrate a positive attitude towards the aspirations of adults with disabilities.

We are looking for both part and full time Facilitators working a minimum of 16hrs up to full time 37hrs weekly. You will be required to work shifts to include mornings, evenings and alternate weekends. We will consider those with or without previous care experience as we offer a comprehensive induction and training programme. What matters most is that you support our values and can demonstrate the potential to develop in this role and have a positive attitude toward the aspirations of people with disabilities.

Interview dates will be on the 10th, 17th and 21st June with a start date of 9th September 2019. There will be dates in the summer waiting period to meet the team, attend staff events and visit the new site.
