National Star are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist with some specialist skills to join our exiting experienced team. We provide Occupational Therapy to support young adults achieve their full potential in all aspects of their daily life. This setting offers the unique opportunity to work with our students closely and regularly throughout their time at National Star and provide bespoke therapy interventions. We are looking for a creative, dynamic team member that has a broad range of clinical skills and knowledge to support individuals with complex physical and learning difficulties. We have a newly adapted sensory integration room and are ideally looking for an individual with sensory integration experience or an interest in developing skills in this area. Some understanding of complex postural needs and 24 posture management would be desirable. You should ideally have some experience working with individuals with complex physical disability, PMLD, ABI, Autism, visual impairment or Assistive technology. You will work autonomously whilst being part of a supportive team of 8 Occupational Therapists, 4 Occupational Therapy Assistants and the student Tech Team.
