Can you be a successful member of the National Star Retail Team? This is an exciting opportunity to help build a new team as we expand our charity retail business. Our charity shops are vital in supporting National Star’s aim to transform the lives of young people with disabilities.
National Star launched its first charity shop in Gloucester in October 2020 & our second shop in Cheltenham in November 2021. We have since added shops in Hereford, Hatherley and Cirencester and will be opening our latest shop in Abbeydale, Gloucester later this year. You will be joining National Star at an exciting stage in our growth & this role is key to help driving that growth as we look to rapidly expand our network of shops in the near future.
We are looking for a regular volunteer to drive one of our vehicles to collect and deliver stock between our shops. The role will involve our volunteer to load and unload at our shops and the round will usually start and finish at our Ullenwood Campus where there is ample parking available.
We have several roles available as we would ideally like to buddy our drivers up.
For this role you will need to be physically fit, hold a full UK driving licence and usually be available 1 day per week. We would also need to carry out a DBS check at our cost.
Please contact us for an informal chat about the role with no obligation. We can explain in a little more detail and also arrange a taster day to accompany a member of staff throughout a typical day.
You would be joining a wonderful team of 100+ other amazing volunteers that help to keep our shops running smoothly.
